Myself and Laura over at Laura Reflected have come up with a bunch of gift ideas we think the awesome, sassy, badass, feminist types would love to receive.
And, tbh, I think we would quite like all of these things.
I may have bought the safari print PJ’s already (20). And I’ve definitely got my eye on the notebooks (14 & 19), and the Frankenstein quote sweater (3).
I first heard about the Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patches on the episode of Sali Hughes’ in the bathroom series with Ruth Crilly. Ruth briefly mentioned that they’d worked for her, whereas Sali said she hadn’t really had any success with them. Experimental (translation: desperate) as I am, I thought I’d give them a go and quickly ordered some from Amazon.
If you’ve never seen them, they’re basically stickers that you put over a spot to try and get rid of it. I’ve been using these for about a year now, and I can tell you that they work consistently.
I paid less than a fiver for 24 different sized patches, which is really reasonable when you consider how much some anti-blemish solutions are.
So, I know it’s kind of Autumn now, but I also know that my social media is full of people trotting off on sunny holidays still. So, I wanted to tell you about my favourite product this summer – Anthelios XL Ultra Light Fluid SPF 50+ from La Roche-Posay
We only booked our recent holiday to Tenerife a week beforehand, and I didn’t have time or inclination to buy new stuff. BUT I did want to find a good sunscreen for my face.
I can’t stand anything heavy on my face normally, never mind in the heat, so I really wanted something lighter than normal body sunscreen. Problems I’ve had previously with facial sunscreens are that they’re too heavy, too greasy, don’t sit well under makeup, or cause my skin to overreact, break out, and just be a general oily mess.
